3. Semi Qualified Assistants

CA Inter or B. Com – 10 to 15 years experience, M. Com with 5 to 10         years experience, Knowledge of Audits, Direct Taxes

4. Articles

Fresh Articles after clearing IPCC/PCC/PEII or experienced articles on transfer.

Reminder from the council of the Institute!

The council yesterday issued an Announcement regarding Regulation 65 & 78 applicable on the CA students.

Regulation 65 states:
Without the previous permission of the Council, obtained on application made in the approved form, no articled assistant shall, during the period of his service as an articled assistant, take any other course of study or training, whether academic or professional, or engage in any business or occupation”

The council felt that of late more and more students are joining other courses during their articleship without prior approval from the institute. And they disclose the same in their membership form.

The institute has also published its punishment policy for those who breach Regulation 65 & 78. It can be viewed at the link given below.

The Committee further decided that the students / articled assistants who have not so far taken permission for pursuing additional course along with articleship are required to file Form 112 duly completed with the Institute on or before 31st December, 2009 and thereafter no request for Breach of Regulation 65 / 78 will be considered for condonation.
